Ghorepani Annapurna Base Camp is a 12-day trek with pleasant views. Substitute hill vistas, and

overall cultural exposure. It begins by road to Kathmandu and second road trip to Pokhara, serene

lake town, and has but a single distant glimpse of the Annapurna mountains. It begins near Pokhara

at Nayapul and meanders through rainforest, rice paddy, and Gurung villages.

Most rewarding trekking experience is sunrise summit of Poon Hill (3,210m) with view of

Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range.

Around the base camp  Annapurna I, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) behemoth

mountains, sight unavoidable for trekkers. The trekking is walk

in the forest and village path, to open heart natural hot springs of Jhinu Danda. The trekking is

finished with road journey to Pokhara and lastly Kathmandu.

It is a perfect mix of nature and culture and adventure and life time experience. Acclimatization needs

to be developed because of the change in altitude, but natural scenery of Himalayas, Gurung culture,

and landscape variation provide it a life time experience which one should never miss.
